This was a project for a series branding for Blue Ridge Community Church. We started with the concept of this spoken word and shot a variety of angles and lighting scenarios.
In the edit, we decided to take some risks to emphasize the tone of the piece. This included emphasizing words with stylized graphics and using alternating aspect ratios to support the narrative of the story.
This is a mini Doc Project for a nonprofit - Friendship House.
This edit revolved around fitting multiple pieces together, from the interviews and talking heads to the raw on-location footage. It was a fun challenge to figure out how to weave those things together in a way that keeps the audience engaged.

I was able to edit together a wide range of clips from disparate projects, and I believe I created a mood and feeling from beginning to end that represents the sort of work that I do.

This is a live music video that I shot and edited for the band Water Within.
This is a good example of some basic editing that I think was executed well. The edit follows the energy of the music and supports its impact.
